In-home pet euthanasia: Our practice

Mulberry Lane in-home veterinary care

We wanted to build an at-home euthanasia mobile veterinary practice that was different. Because we’re a little different. Our practice reflects who we are, and our interests in the relationship and attachment we have with our companion animals.

We are all on a shared journey, and we support each other along the way. Through mutual care and understanding, even the smallest actions can have a long-lasting impact on each other.

It's a reminder in grief and uncertainty that these feelings are shared and softened by those around us.

Vision and mission

This is where it first began when we started to establish our mobile veterinary practice focused on at-home euthanasia. It was important to understand our purpose and create alignment with who we are. It’s our guiding light.

Vision

To normalize and nurture the well-being of families in the shared human experience of loss, grief and love with companion animals, and find meaning in loss.

Mission

To support families with grace, compassion, validation and understanding through their journey of saying goodbye to their companion animal.

Our shared values

Our values drive us and motivate us. They’re intrinsic to who we are.

  • We feel included, connected, seen, heard, valued, and accepted. We have permission to be ourselves and understand we’re part of something bigger.

  • Every interaction is an opportunity for us to practice compassion, curiosity, respect, and integrity.

  • The inner work we do is equally – if not more – important to the work we do in our careers. Our self-care habits and practice lead to greater clarity, insight, and purpose. Mindfulness, gratitude, rest, and recovery are key.

  • We’re motivated to learn, develop, and enhance our understanding of the world around us. And our passion for learning means we love sharing information in an accessible and practical way.

  • We promote an active, healthy lifestyle. It’s important we take care of our physical and mental health. We feel better, live longer, and can be our best selves.

  • Good ideas guide our decision-making. We encourage open-mindedness, collaboration, and the courage to challenge and explore. A good idea can come from anyone, anywhere.
